We got involved in the Simmental business in 1983 and have always concentrated on raising mid-sized, easy keeping cattle with an emphasis on fertility, milk and feed efficiency. That has been very important, especially in the last few dry years! We raise bulls with the commercial cattleman in mind. The bulls must grow well, be thick and easy moving. We sell most of our cattle privately, as well consign to a few select sales such as the "Heartland Sale" in Red Deer in November, the "Red and Black" sale in Red Deer in December, the "Cardston Bull Test" sale in Lethbridge in April, and the "High River Select Bull Sale", also in April - and of course, we have been guest consigners at the "Bar 15 Sale" for the last 13 years!
